According to the law, everyone who visits a website that uses cookies must be informed that the website contains cookies, what they are used for and how to turn them off (Electronic Communications Act, SFS 2003:389, which came into force on 25 July 2003). A cookie is a small text file with information that is stored on the user’s computer. Cookies are normally used to improve the website for the user. There are two types of cookies:

One type saves a file that remains on the user’s computer. The file is used, for example, to make it easier for the user to use the website based on his or her wishes and interests.
The second type is called a session cookie. While a user is on the website, it is stored temporarily in the memory of the user’s computer. Session cookies disappear when the user closes the web browser. No personal information, e.g. email or name, is saved about the user.
Our website uses both types of cookies. When you visit our website, a session cookie is sent between your computer and our web server to make navigation, among other things, easier. Session cookies are also used when you use some of our services. The cookie disappears when you end your visit.

If, as a visitor, you don’t accept the website using cookies, you can close the function via your web browser’s security settings. You can also set your web browser to warn you every time a website tries to write a cookie to your computer.

If you don’t want cookies to be stored on your computer, you can also close that function in your web browser settings. No cookies will then be stored, but you will also not be able to use some of the functions on the website.
